2020 VRPS Conference
October 5-9, 2020

Thank you to all who participated in the 2020 Conference Social!  We said a heartfelt farewell to Jim Stutts, practiced our drawing skills with Young Rembrandts and had a trivia challenge.  We hope to see you all in person again one day soon!

2020 VRPS NSA Work Plan Goals

  1. Provide at least 4 educational sessions that address current trends or interest areas.
  2. Facilitate open communication amongst service area members and VRPS.
  3. Increase attendance & active participation at all NSA activities.
  4. Evaluate the annual budget on a continual basis.
  5. Administrative

Develop park and recreation leaders in the Northern Service Area through collaboration, networking, and education while supporting the overall objectives of the Virginia Recreation and Park Society.


We will be a service area inclusive of the diverse jurisdictions and responsibilities in the Northern Service Area to collaborate and expand the knowledge and resources available to all current and future members.
