The Parks and Facilities Supervisor, under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director, is a skilled supervisory position responsible for the operations of Parks and Recreation's parks, fields, and facilities.
The candidate is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance/ground operations of County parks and facilities. The candidate would work in coordination with the General Services Department for work orders involving plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues. The candidate would schedule and supervise part-time, seasonal parks staff. The candidate would be involved in the daily operations including, but not limited to field maintenance and grounds maintenance.
The candidate should have a general knowledge of park and field maintenance. The candidate should be able to operate park equipment including, but not limited to mowers, weed eaters, tractors, gator, trailered equipment. Knowledge to basic computer skills. Experience with Parks and Recreation preferred. Candidate shall have, or be eligible for the Pesticide Training certification.
