Mini University for Professional Development
The successful Mini University, presented by the Prince William County Park Authority is now available to VRPS. A partnership has been arranged so VRPS can take advantage of this quality training and development.

The training courses range from 2 hours to a full day. Two hour courses cost $90, half day course cost $160 and full day courses cost $300. The full day courses include lunch.
Limited seats are available. Full payment is required 2 weeks prior to course date. No cancellations, however, substitutions allowed.
Courses will be held at three locations in Prince William County.
CEUs: The classes have not been preapproved for CEUs, but you are welcome to apply for ceu credits after you take a course. You would need to submit a Continuing Education Unit Equivalency Petition Application for each course. Click here for the form.

March 1st Class: Sexual Harassment and Harassment Awareness Rescheduled for March 8th 1pm to 3pm at the Birchdale Recration Center.
Inclement Weather Procedure- If the PWC Park Authority is on a delayed opening schedule or closed, or if the PWC Schools are on a delayed opening schedule or closed (http://pwcs.edu/), any Mini University classes scheduled for that day are canceled. Call the Hellwig Administrative Offices, (703) 792-4264, to ascertain whether the Park Authority is on a delayed opening or closed.
General Cancellations
Cancellations are generally announced via email no less than five business days prior to the class.
Tobacco Products
No use of tobacco products is permitted within thirty feet of the building.
