February 25 2019 Senior Trips & Tours Workshop

Mark Humphrey was a wealth of experience that proved to be very beneficial when discussing the “What if “ scenarios during our day trips and excursions.  He also brought to the table a tried and true structure of trip planning .  All attendees realizing that our Government policies and procedures create differences of how we can or can’t spend money. If you don’t have the means to plan your own trip, contact Jerard Welch representing Collette Travel provided completely planned Major City, National Parks and International Travel with complete itinerary and meals included.  Victoria Matthew representing Visit Fredericksburg and Hannah Oliver representing Visit Loudoun provide highlights of these two areas including Restaurants, Breweries, Wineries, Sporting Event and Festivals.  These specifics provided a good go to list of vendors that would help us know the best places to go with unique features that will make our trips successful.

View the attached map with all the areas of the state represented at this Trips and Tours Workshop.

Special thanks to June Snead and April Baber for their assistance with registration, photos, awards and evaluations during this event.
